RACE MOTO.CA ACQUIRES SUPER SERIES

BRINGING RENEWED FOCUS TO MOTORCYCLE RACING AT SHANNONVILLE MOTORSPORT PARK

Shannonville, Ontario, November 12th, 2024 – RACE Moto.CA is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Super Series from Shannonville Motorsport Park. The new ownership group, consisting of David Grummett, Jill Bureau and Allison Grummett look forward to continuing to build and support grassroots motorcycle racing in Ontario under the RACE Moto.CA brand.

Shannonville Motorsport Park, known as The Birthplace of Champions, has played a key role in writing the history books for motorcycle racing in Canada. Dominique Bondar shares: “For the past five years, the Super Series has grown to be the home for motorcycle racers in Southeastern Ontario and beyond as many Québec riders fell in love with our irresistible community. With the help of all Super Series staff, and with a common objective, I believe that we succeeded in providing a fair and reliable platform for both new and seasoned competitors. Keeping in mind the importance of growing motorcycle racing in Canada, there is no better team than Dave, Jill and Allison. They have my love and support to take the series to the next level.”

The acquisition of the Super Series by RACE Moto.CA will bring renewed focus to motorcycle racing at SMP and continue to develop future champions. “The RACE Moto.CA team came to life out of the love for the Super Series race community and our passion for the sport. Our current team has been actively involved in the series over the past number of years and are thankful to the Bondars for allowing us the opportunity to continue to build the race series and community.” -David Grummett

About David Grummett – David had been involved with motorcycles for most of his life.  Racing motocross in his teens, then getting hooked on roadracing after taking a race school for fun with some buddies.  He was fortunate to have raced in the hay days of the 80’s and 90’s, and won 3 championships.  After having 3 kids in 5 years he stepped away from racing, taught the FAST School for decades, and owned a motorcycle accessory store/dealership for 20 years.  He then went on to work for different OEMs and motorcycle industry associations.  David came back to the track in 2020 as the Technical Director and race school instructor for the Super Series.

About Jill Bureau – has been involved in motorcycle racing at Shannonville Motorsport Park and has worked with every ownership group of the track since its inception in the 1970’s. Jill brings many years experience in timing, registration and race series management and will continue to be a huge asset to the series moving forward.

About Allison Grummett – daughter of Jill and Dave, Allison has grown up in a racing family and is an avid motorcyclist, having completed many FAST Riding School courses, raced Supermoto and being the first woman to complete the 800+km Paris Dacre Canadian off road endurance rally. Allison currently holds the position of Sr Product Planner for a motorcycle OEM and looks forward to continuing to build motorcycle racing in Canada.

The new team will be in effect immediately. Websites and social media accounts are in transition from the Super Series to RACEMoto.CA and the 2025 RACE Moto.ca schedule will be available in the upcoming days.
