Mario Jakowski
British Columbia - Mario’s motorsport journey began in 1985 as an Enduro rider, he rode motocross in the 90’s and supported his son in the same sport. Street riding around 2000s, he reignited his off road passion in 2012, returning to casual riding and competitive racing in BC. Since 2014, he has been actively involved with ISDE Team Canada, progressing from mechanic to paddock manager, then Assistant Team Manager, and since 2022, serving as the CMA Delegate at FIM Jury meetings. Motorsport has always been his passion, driving his commitment to the sport and its community.
Lee Fryberger
Alberta – Lee started riding off road at age 9, and began racing Alberta Cross Country and Motocross events as an adult. Mentored by many in the community, he organized regional hare scrambles on his property as well as cross countries in the Crowsnest Pass. Worked professionally in the industry as a journeyman mechanic from age 18, as well as multiple roles in dealerships and as a regional sales representative. This experience imbedded him in the World Enduro Championships of 2006 and 2007. Lee rode 4 ISDE, medaling in 3 before moving into a leadership role in 16 more ISDE events. He had a key role in the Hard Enduro Xtinction before it morphed into Red Bull Outliers, where he’s managed the track building for that events participation the FIM World Hard Enduro Championships.

Daryl Murphy
Saskatchewan/Manitoba - Daryl has been passionately involved in motorcycling since his first ride. From 1993 to 2008, he participated as a competitive amateur racer in the Saskatchewan area and has held many leadership positions at both local and regional levels as a director from 2006 to 2019.
He is notably engaged on the national level, currently fulfilling the roles of Safety Marshal and Race Official for the Triple Crown pro motocross series. His insights, dedication, and expertise have influenced the series, particularly through his methodology in flagger marshal training. This initiative has not only improved event safety but may also have established a new standard for innovative practices aimed at enhancing safety for all participants.

Todd Sharpless
Ontario – Todd grew up in a motorcycling family and worked within the industry for many years including at his parents shop Sonic Motorcycles. First riding Trials at a young age and competing in all other disciplines of motorcycle racing throughout his career, his dedication to Dirt Track allowed him to successfully compete in the Canadian National and American Pro Series for over 20 years. Todd also promoted numerous races, created a Dirt Track School, and served on the CMA Ontario Council. Once retired from racing, he came back to Dirt Track for three years as Senior Referee in the early 2000’s.
Todd continues riding as longtime Pre-rider for the Corduroy 3 Day National Enduro as well as trail riding with friend and family.
Philippe Chaine
Quebec -35 years old, Chicken Farmer and maple syrup producer. Offroad riders for KTM Canada, Turned Pro in 2009. 4x FMSQ Cross country Champion, 9x FMSQ Enduro Champion, 2x Corduroy Champion, 3x Canadian Enduro Champion, and 1x Sprint Enduro West Champion. Ten times representing Team Canada at the ISDE, and FMSQ Cross country Promoter while 2006.

Tyler Medaglia
Atlantic - Tyler Medaglia started riding at 5 years old as his father was a road racer. Primarily motocross, as a kid won 5 amateur national championships along with the bronze boot and Rick Joseph award in the same year in 2003.
He met his wife Heidi Cooke in 2009 through racing, she is a multi-time women’s motocross champion. He has won 2 mx national championships, Montreal supercross 2x, corduroy enduro 2x, has raced for team Canada at MxON 9x, and 5x for team Canada at ISDE winning c1 in Portugal 2019. His son Talon is in the thick of it now already having won 2 Canadian amateur championships in the 65 classes.

Renee Turner
Director At Large - Renee has been a driving force behind the Alberta Off Road scene since 2005. She started out racing motocross in Alberta and moved to the off-road arena with her family. She was a member of the Lethbridge Motorcycle club and the KMA Club. She has been an ambassador of the sport for many years. She first volunteered with the ISDE Six day team in Sardina Italy, doing check boxes. She then moved on to time cards and team apparel. She stepped into the Assistant team manager role and Managed the team In France. She has also been a FIM Delegate and currently holds a FIM Senior Technical Steward license. She has helped the ISDE in Argentina and in Spain with Technical inspection and sound testing.
Renee is looking forward to working with the CMA and the directors.
